This Monday, 15th September, marks a very special milestone for me: ten years since my last hair colour.
For many years, I played with the idea of letting my greys grow in. I was curious, but also hesitant — afraid of looking older, of not being “me” anymore. It wasn’t until I was living in London that I finally decided to take the leap.
And what happened next was something I never expected.
- I loved it.
- My confidence soared.
- I stopped trying to look younger and began to honour my age.
- I stopped Botox and found joy in my natural face.
- Compliments came from everywhere (Men love Grey hair on women!).
- My hair grew stronger and healthier.
- I began modelling — something I never imagined for myself.
And, in time, that journey led me to create Silvina LONDON, so I could share the same care and glow with others who choose to embrace their silver.
Going grey wasn’t about “giving up” — it was about stepping into who I really was. Instead of chasing youth, I started celebrating my age. And in that acceptance, life opened up in the most beautiful ways.
Ten years on, I wouldn’t change a thing. My grey hair gave me far more than a new look. It gave me freedom.
If you’re standing at that crossroads yourself, wondering whether to take the leap — know that it can bring you confidence, beauty and peace in ways you can’t yet imagine.
Here’s to glowing grey 🩵.
With Love, Silvina x
